Welcome

Nick has been Windsurfing for 23 years starting when he was only 12! He started using an Open class Dufour Wing that was really not his cup of tea. In 1984 his father bought him a Fanatic Racy Cat which was a fun board and his love of the sport really took off. He was lucky enough to live 2 minutes walk from the water and for a school project produced a sailing trolley to transport his gear to the water. ("I've have never had so much sailing time as I did for those early years learning to sail a fun board").
Nick in his early years won many local Regattas' including on several occasions the World known Hayling Island Sailing Club 2 Harbours Winter decanter.
By the age of 16, Nick was in the British Youth Team, and placed 2nd youth nationally on the series, by 19 he had not only qualified and sailed in the British World Cup Event held in Cornwall, but was the third placed Sponsored Sailor on the National Series.
Nick joined the army in 1990 and was 5 times Army National Champion and 2 times combined Services Champion. Nick was the only Non Commissioned Officer to hold the position of Captain of the Army Windsurfing Team and was awarded his Corps and Army colours for services to the sport.
